I am a creative, compassionate, and dedicated teacher who is interested in a teaching position in the area of Communication Technology. In June 2011, I graduated from Brock University in the Technological Education Program.
My teaching experiences including 16 years of guitar instruction have made me aware of the diverse needs and abilities of students. I am impressed by the high standards that Toronto District School Board educators offer students of varying languages and abilities. In my teaching practices, I have learned to diversify my teaching strategies and to incorporate new technologies in my program to engage all learners. I adapt expectations and vary assessment strategies to suit their strengths, needs and interests. I have learned the importance of working in collaboration with colleagues in achieving success for all students with regard to equity, diversity, and inclusive education.
